Why we need to reforest California after the fires
California state parks that were hard-hit
by catastrophic wildfires need a helping hand. After an intense wildfire,
it is difficult or impossible for remaining trees to spread seeds widely
enough to generate new forest. These decimated areas are at risk for
landslides, soil degradation and severe erosion.
By replanting trees soon after a fire, we can help to make regeneration possible before competing brush and plants take over an area. Reforestation has the potential to transform thousands of acres by supporting wildlife, improving air quality and stabilizing the soil. It also directly benefits state park visitors and residents in the vicinity.
Your donation to the Reforest California project will make a critical contribution to restoring natural balance in these fragile areas.
More About Reforestation

Money raised could translate to 1,800 acres of newly planted trees and $7 million in environmental savings each year due to energy conservation and reduced pollution.
